We love Giada! Especially her beach home 
No seriously we have made several of Giada’s recipes and they have all worked out and been fabulous. Her shows on the Food Network are awesome too. She has a wonderful blend of education, fun and personality that makes watching her a pleasure, not to mention her recipes are beautiful.
Tyler knows everything there is to know about food. We have never seen anything we haven’t absolutely love on his show. He cooks with such ease and efficiency, and the out come is always a work of art.
3. Ina Garten
It was actually a discussion about Ina that got us started on this list. I wanted a way to let people know who’s recipes were stellar and who’s fell flat. We have yet to make a dish from Ina that wasn’t absolutely the most delicious thing you have ever tasted. We make at least two recipes of hers a week and it comes out every single time. Plus she has her own web site where you can Ask Ina questions which might get answered in her upcoming episodes, that easily puts her in the top 3 in our eyes.
2. Lidia Bastianich (unable to link to her site for the moment)
Who didn’t grow up watching Lidia cook her way across PBS? And she’s still around making wonderful food. We love watching her on TV, her show is just so real and genuine. Not like the fakiness that you sometimes get with The Food Network. Now honestly we haven’t made that many of Lidia’s dishes, but we have made a few. They are a little more difficult, but Lidia makes it look so easy and we absolutely love when she visits Italy.
1. Julia Child & Jaques Pepin
Come on we had to do it. You can’t have a top 5 list of anything foodesque with out these two. Again we love watching old episodes on PBS, and anything with Julia Child in it has guaranteed laughes. No one makes cooking fun like these two.

5. Sandra Lee
We really hesitated to put her on the list, but felt an obligation to tell the world. After watching her show you think what an awesome idea semi-homemade. Well it is semi-homemade and you can taste it. We’ve made a few of her recipes and they were anything but delicious. So bad we had to throw most of them out, talk about a waste of money. Sorry Sandra, but you need to get some tastier recipes.
4. Paula Deen
You think we’re insane right? Paula Deen on the top 5 worst celebrity cooks list! Yes and we are so sorry too. We hate to have to tell you her recipes are crap. Every single one we try either totally explodes in our face or just tastes eh. Not to mention her sudo talk show Paula’s Party was seriously painful to watch. We for one think it’s time for Bobby to come out of the closet already!
Where did this chick come from? We first got a glimpse of her as a judge on Iron Chef America, hated watching her judge she seemed so snooty and mean. Nothing she says ever makes sense. To be fair we haven’t tried any of her dishes before, but we refuse. Something about her personality feels like cat claws in your brain.
Another one of the where did this chick come from contenders. We watched her show Ask Aida and I can’t believe all the bad advice and horrible food techique. I even looked up her credential, which are pretty stellar, after the show to make sure she was an actual cook. We fear her meals because if she can’t even get food facts or measurements we hardly think one of her recipes would be good. Plus her show is just odd and she looks quiet uncomfortable
